THE FINAL PROJECT!!!

this was our last project in creative studies after having some of the most interesting lessons mostly wen we tackled topics like juxtaposition,, really interesting!! the first week we were supposed to make to very huge mind-maps one on creative multimedia and the other on a topic of our choice from the first mind map,ours were actually first rejected, it really never met the standards!! anyway finally we did these ones!,

from this mind map we chose a subject off and handled it differently, the subject was the application of creative multimedia and here is its own mind-map.

this tackled the different ways in which creative multimedia is applied in our daily lives.

 next was the essay about the applications of creative multimedia. we wrote it out and later presented it to him with an outstanding topic sentence on which we were going to make the next sketches,,

The Application of creative multimedia
Creative multimedia is best understood if one separates the two big words which in this case are creative and multimedia. Creative simply means having the ability to think and act unique where as multimedia refers to the various ways of passing on information for example through texts, animations audio clips and sideshows. Therefore creative multimedia in the lay man language refers to the unique ideas that people introduce in the world of media.  The application of creative multimedia can however be further categorized since it is applied in various parts of our daily lives,
In the entertainment part, creative multimedia can be applied in creating amazing motion graphics, movies and animations that keep people entertained during their free time, the concept of creative multimedia in this case is employed to create a variation in presentation or even the flow which helps to fight the problem of inconsistency and monotony in the production of the animations and motion graphics. Achieving such a goal of keeping the crowds entertained and occupied for a long time without having to repeat certain presentations simply requires a good interaction between extremely creative minds and the different types of media. The entertainment enjoyed through creative multimedia can be further seen even through more ways. It can appear through printed format where we meet the comics that people read and enjoy, the crossword puzzles which people try out and solve and the novels which people read as a way of entertaining themselves. Also we find the creative arts that include the MDD (music dance and drama) and are enjoyed mostly by people who still believe in old tradition values of society. Here people get to watch stage plays and listen to traditional music composed using their own traditional instruments like drums.
Economically, creative multimedia can be of great economic value considering one can apply it to for commercial gains. A creative mind can earn a living through the creativity they employ in multimedia for example through making advertisements for companies and other organizations’ that pay to get recognition and fame. People apply their brains to pull off brilliant advertisements for which they get paid in lots of money for that. In the same sense advertising is a big job that one cannot simply start and finish alone so eventually other people get employed in the field from which they earn a living. Considering that from creative multimedia people earn a living, it means the income earners become many and therefore the tax base of the country becomes wider with time and  this increases the country’s income per capita  and later the national income of the country which even though it’s long term leads to development of the country. So from people paying a lot of taxes having a lot of businesses in advertisements and other creative multimedia investments like comics and magazines that also pay huge taxes lead to economic growth and evidently advertising is one of the biggest earning sectors in any economy.
In the information sections of our lives, creative multimedia is applied in a couple of ways. It is applied in the institutions of learning like schools academies, universities, and training workshops and cooperate business meetings to provide information to the public and all involved parties respectively. Different modes of creative multimedia for example slide shows are used in schools to easily teach and inform students without all of  them having to access that information from the same source. Also, they can be used in cooperate business meetings to show the sales and progression of their business entity. Through slide shows they make graphs and pie charts which simplify and breakdown the information for all members to understand which makes work easier. Still through we get to acquire information through the news provided by the news channels on television stations. These eventually create an equally informed environment meaning it is easy for people to know what is going on their own countries whenever and wherever it happens.
Finally creative multimedia can be employed in the communications part of our lives, various ideas that we have mentioned above can be used still in communication here. Social communication which appears mainly through public awareness programs can be done using various means in creative multimedia. One can use printed material like posters, fliers and banners to provide free information that benefits society, for example in case of a disease outbreak, public awareness programs are put into place to help inform the people about the dangers and causes of such disasters.
Conclusively creative multimedia is indeed a very significant means to live by considering one can only sit down and access all the information they need to be up to date in all the sectors of their lives like health, finance and politics.

next was a a single sketch from each of the members and this was even a little more interesting because we were supposed to chose from the 1o sketches each one made!!

THE QUEEN CAT,,

possibly one of the most scary things i have managed to draw out of my brain... do not bother her, she will find you, and even if you don't she will find you,, so she had better find you clean and ready!! QUEEN CAT!!

ok imagine the possibilities of completely free generation where marriage is between any race and type of people? make it even better, intermarriage amongst all animals,,, is there a any doubt that a hybrid of a buffalo and a chimpanzee would be like this?? i have no doubt, it is a perfect combination though,,juxtaposition however gives us the creativity to explore such possibilities though they are hypothetical..but at least we get to meet them in our idea generation processes..which is good!!

talking about relating very different subjects, this is a very disturbing collaboration, but it has managed to look like it exists, juxtaposition helps one understand the concept of survival by one's creativity, same way one makes a movie with characters that do not exist in the world but they are made and people are moved by what they watch..i named that the guinea horse..

this is a poem i created based on juxtaposition, i have to really unrelated subjects chili and love, chili is love and literally love is supposed to be a good thing, but making a poem saying i love you like chili simply makes it ironic, since it is rare to find people who love chili as much that means whatever that love is it is a rare type, either too much or too little.

still on juxtaposition, one learns to relate to completely dissimilar objects or words which is also good in boosting creativity in the mind, how to relate two different worlds. as in the picture above the related are two very different subjects but i just found a way to relate them, which makes sense by the way.

for juxtaposition to get well  into use, one has to have two objects or words placed together for comparison , they could be extremely similar of even just with a few similar qualities, above is the mortar and pastel, traditional kitchen utensil that have existed in almost all social groups that have even the slightest belief in traditional aspirations. so by using juxtaposition we can easily tell the similarities amongst all the social groups that have applied the objects in question! take a close look at the above images and u will see the ways in which the objects were applied for different reasons..

mind mapping

a mind map is a very good idea generator most especially if one has a complex idea. it helps you break it down into separate portions making it easy for you to accomplish whatever you might intend to. i used it here to find out information about a colleague of mine and that way i easily discovered what she likes and does not like so that means i now know her at least.

here i introduce the a whole new meaning of the word new, never done before, possibly never even been thought about, think about that, is it still possible to do something that people have never thought about doing? yes it it but that brings us to something else, the term genius ideas!! generation revolutionizing ideas.. made and created by a certain category of people.its this category of people who shock the world, well am not saying they are better people than us but their brains probably function faster and even more efficiently than ours.they create ideas, they create new things in the world and these last long enough that for generations no one even tries them out. easily put these people think far ahead of their time, i mean centuries ahead of their time. my best example here is LEONARDO DA VINCI. his works, just unmentionable,

innovation is not exactly being new but being new about something else,,to innovate is to improve something that already exists by making it better for reasons that normally stand commercial, an innovation is directed to make society better, when one makes use of the innovation, they should have their needs satisfied since they have to pay for it in the first place...well take a look at the BMW in the 1970's and the innovated version of 2010, very big difference but the same brand, simply innovated, it is important to note that evolution is also a process and it just keeps growing in people's minds,

NOVELTY

being new means being fresh and without any pre-usage but do we really know the 'quality of being new''?
when any of us has a new idea, the only reason we hold on to it is because we think we are the first ones to have it, we think it is a new idea into being, what we are holding on to is the quality of its being new in our minds, such misconceptions change after we realize we are not the first ones to have such ideas, ''novelty' is what helps us tell the difference between being ''new'' and the ''quality of being new''..

LARRY PAGE AND SARGEY BRIN.

very well known as the Google guys.PHD graduates from one of the world's greatest technological universities, Stanford university, these guys have all they have ever demanded their brains to give them, simple creativity, but to be more honest i do not categorize them in the creativity with capital ''C'' although i put them in the highest level of creativity with small ''c''. they simply had a thought in their heads of categorizing and organizing the already existing information and making it exceedingly easy to access by anyone who can access a computer with internet, these guys have achieved the highest level of simplicity in internet search and credit goes to them, this becomes the level of creativity that does not require exceedingly unique brains but requires exceedingly well set brains, what they put together was a product of extreme brain setting and preparation and there was almost no reason they could not achieve it. lets say all we have to learn from these boys is setting goals and setting ourselves to achieve them.i learn from these boys the simplicity with which our brains can decide to present information to us and we even neglect it sometimes. we all knew the map of the world but these boys simplified it through Google map and you can find where ever you want to go without having to study any geography and even measure the distance you have to cover to get there or even determine the weather there, this discussion is very open to debate about ,, just register and share your thoughts,

William Henry ''Bill'' Gates III

everybody using a P.C pretty much knows who this man is, but there might be somethings about him that are very important to us and unfortunately they are the things we don't know about him, everyone knows him as one of the wealthiest men in the world of all time and that is very true,, he was ranked wealthiest man in the world from 1995 to 2009 an the only time he was ranked third was 2008. i will leave out the way he runs his property and all about his life and get to what is important to people like us who by no chance can be that wealthy but have the brains to put us in even better places than we are now, no offense. the first question you might want to ask yourself is how can a human being have such a creative brain to come with a world converting discovery? this man's discovery changed the world and not to mention, it put the world in his arms, of course he managed to meet some competition from men like Steve Jobs with his Macintosh  but how creative are his ideas that he even manages to stay on top of his game.creativity to him is what made him what he is, it all started from a thought and when it was put into practice it got him all he he ever dreamed of actually even what he never thought he could get , did i mention what he did? no, he invented a personal computer,, we can take it at that level of simplicity for now, the simple question every creative studies student should ask himself/herself is what he had in mind when he created the personal computer, very important thing to know and that is simply because it will teach us how to believe in your ideas and or even convert them into something people can love or even use, something that can change your society, until i find out what he had in mind, i won't stop talking or even researching about him, crazy as it may sound i am looking forward to a one on one interview with him! creativity with ''C'' if you have some answers, am more than listening,,

IN THE WORLD OF CREATIVITY!!

here i want to introduce you to the whole world do of the most creative people in the 21st century, i will be discussing the great change creators of this century, people whose work is defined under creativity with a capital ''C''. we are going to stat with William Henry ''Bill'' Gates and then go to Larry Page and Sergey Brin..

CREATIVITY????? HMMM

OK this really can mean to become a tough word but i found a rather simpler way of approaching it, every time you think of doing something you haven't done before, you are being creative because you are introducing yourself to a whole new idea, so creativity is simply the ability to make or remake but improve,, all directed towards satisfying a desired goal or objective,,
oh and this definition is subject to correction and therefore up for discussion, am only trying to be creative here!!
